I request to keep the Infoshop being a book store and expanding its functions to more public events. This is one of the places that brings me joy, good spirit, and the sense of community. We can't dry out all places where people come to feed their soul, It's subtle cruelty to leave people only with their computer screens - isolated and frustrated. Psychological health is as important as physical health.

Not only my office colleagues and myself have always valued this bookstore. My friends and visitors have gone to the book store to buy publications and souvenirs.

One of the few, if only bookstore that has the books we use and need for development. And just about the only physical face to the public on what we do DC.

A window to the world. An important place for us living abroad to get access to books and articles with in-depth analysis of current affairs from around the globe. A "must-stop" during our visits to DC!

I sincerely request that the Infoshop continue as it is providing an excellent service to public at large and also to Bank staff. It is truly a visible image of the Bank. It reflects its own value and I have sentimental attachment to it. I am from country office but whenever I visit DC I always spend time in the Infoshop and am so impressed with its management. PLEASE .... PLEASE .... LET THIS CONTINUE AND EVEN PROVIDE BETTER SERVICE.

This place is funded with US taxpayer dollars and as such should remain open as a public good. For international development practitioners this is a source like no other. If Jim Kim wants to cut costs he should stop taking bonuses.

It is highly regrettable that any bookstore is to close particularly the Bank's own bookstore.

I think the InfoShop is a really good Portal for the general public to get to know about the World Bank's mission and research. Aside from books, the souvenirs sold in the shop also supports the WB's branding, which is always needed. Therefore, I think the InfoShop is very valuable and should not be closed down.
