I love this bookstore and shop there often....please, please, please don't take away one of the last remaining tributes to the printed word.

Dissemination of knowledge needs to remain at the heart of the mission of the World Bank. Let's keep the Infoshop open!

Please reconsider--this bookshop is needed and is an important source for its books and publications.

The InfoShop provides a unique source of information on development topics. It would be a sad loss to the development community.

Can the "Workd Bank" remain a knowledge bank without a specialized bookstore?

A DC institution, I pass by every time I am there and never fail to pick up a good book or two. A pity if World Bank management would decide to close this shop, it's a great way of finding out about the work of the Bank, especially for people who can't be bothered to trawl through a maze of websites.

This is one of the few bookstores dedicated to development and social issues across the world. Every time I visit DC i stop by to purchase a number of titles. Shutting it down is against everything the World Bank stands for.

Love the store, and as Bank staff based in a Country Office, I strongly believe it provides us an easy way to access useful resources for our work

This truly great bookstore is a vital part of downtown life, and goodness knows the Bank should be able to afford to keep it open!

This is a Washington institution! Please understand how this wonderful shop helps to dispel the image of an uninformed U.S., to our visitors from oversees.

Very disappointed to hear that this business which benefits many will be turned into office space to serve a few. It has been an invaluable resource for professional and personal reading since I moved to DC 5 years ago. Thank you to the Info Shop staff.

As a Bank employee I treasure the book store and the wealth of knowledge that it contains. Please don't close it, especially when it makes a profit!

Ebookstore is not the same as an actual physical bookstore

The Bookstore has been a meeting point for several Bank staff interested in the latest intellectual production in some many relevant fields. Location is important but not fundamental. It would be interesting to keep it open.

This bookstore fulfills an important mission in stocking relevant books on development and other economic issues for the broader DC community as well as for visitors to the area. It is an important mission not served by anyone else and the decision to close should strongly be reconsidered.

We have enough coffee shops at street level. We need knowledge and reflection.

Such an asset to the Bank and the for the work we do. Some of the best books I have read have come from this shop. Please keep it open
