It is critical to have a bookstore to share knowledge. PDF files cannot replace the community space that is the WBG infoshop.

This is a sad move. We are the knowledge bank and I know of many schools /universities who use material that the WB publish and distributes freely or at low cost. This is our give back to the world community.

I was disappointed to learn today that the bookstore would be closing soon. This is by far my favorite bookstore in the DC area because of its great selection of nonfiction and current events books. The store had reasonable prices and a great staff who really took pride in the place. World Bank Executives, please reconsider keeping the store open.

I love this bookstore and this is one of my favorite lunchtime activities... to just go there and browse uninterrupted....Please keep it open as it serves an important civic function.

Savings in knowlege dissemination are not welcome. This is an icon and shoud be even expanded not closed. If our accountants want to save money consider instead reducing the number of expensive and innefficient managers at the World Bank.

I love this bookstore! It is one of the first places I stumbled upon when I moved to DC, so it has a special place in my heart. If they're looking for more foot traffic, they should change the hours a bit; right now they are really only open during work hours.
