In the Arab world, readers still appreciate the paper documents. As the internet connectivity is not that super in some areas of the Arab world, there is still a need to the paper documents. so please keep the infoshop fpr the benefits of my people.

The bookstore is a very valuable source of publication and Bank materials. While the Online sources offer convenience and the ease of use, but only if there is a reliable internet connection. As a field based staff, my biggest frustration has been the Bank's over-reliance on internet-based platform. There are still many parts of the world, where reliable internet is a luxury or not available at all, leaving the staff and people wanting to use Bank resources without access. The Bookstore is not only a resource center, but a reminder that hard copies of materials are here to stay at least for another generation of readers.

I used to take Government Delegations (Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Economic Development) to Infoshop. Delegates usually express appreciation and impression on Infoshop. Please keep Infoshop open.

Infoshop is an important channel for disseminating World Bank work. Counterparts like to visit and buy books. Therefore, I suggest that Infoshop is kept open.

Having this service has saved me a lot of time over the years. We also have a lot of visitors each year who use it. This is a high traffic tourist area, This is the friendly face of the Bank where the general public has open access to the Bank. the saving on this space will be very small. And in terms of building the Bank's image this money will be way better spent than the money it spends on some other publicity activities. Like some of the celebrities who are flown into town for a day.
