A very important service that I relied on for a period of 18 months until something more permanent came along. Cameron and his cronies have made rough sleeping illegal as well as finding shelter and also closing night shelters and now putting in jeopardy services to help homeless people. I guess the tories want a laeger prsion population costing more to the tax payer than pumping money in to preventing homelessness...

An amazing course and gives people the opportunity to gain the support and guidance they need cuts to the facilities will change people who are working in the YMCA but also the people who use the YMCA. The support is there for people who need it vitally. Rethink this situation.

The YMCA provides an invaluable service to the homeless and the community at large.. it is ameeting place where young people are safe, learning environment with a good community spirit. Sports and other facilities are available to them and the wider community.. There are two Alcoholics Anonymous meetings and an Al-Anon meeting held there weekly. These are vital to supporting alcoholics and their families in their recovery. It would be very short sighted indeed to withdraw their grant.

a basis right of kids to have a bed to sleep in at night. Reduce bin collections to every 6 days instead of 5 and see what saving that would make>
