Demolishing the hub of the community is always a terrible idea.

This used to have a real community feel, and was the perfect place for families. The local community seems to be falling apart now, as there is nothing at the centre. I strongly feel that by getting the community together we could develop this space to become more than just a pub, but something we all cherish. Knocking it down for more flats will not benefit anyone.

A fabulous historic building - once the architectural heritage is knocked down it is gone forever - don't let it happen.

Don't give Wetherspoons total control. Barking @ Dag should make a pre-condition that a pub must remain in any planning development.

Come on fight this. We have lost the Coopers Chads and the Hinds head. If we loose the White Horse that will be four out of six pubs in the immediate area closed within 5 years. Yes 66%.

Too many pubs being closed in Dagenham and The White Horse had the most beautiful garden in which to sit and talk with friends. Will be sorely missed.

This pub was once frequented by thefamous Chadwell Heath artist, Austin Osman Spare, so to knock it down would erode a truly significant part of local Essex history. Anyone who cares about the identity of this little hamlet should fight to retain its history and culture. This is one of the really tangible ways that we can ensure that Chadwell Heath remains on the map.

When I worked across the road it was always busy, good food and great for social gatherings. I bet if it's pulled down they will only build flats.

Please let us try to keep this historic Inn a feature of Chadwell Heath. For centuries it has been a stopping place along the old Roman Road to Colchester.

We need to save local pubs, not sell them off to developers.
