This service is vital for older people who can no longer drive and for young people who would have to rely on their parents every time they went anywhere.

The bus service is a lifeline to the village. There are a lot of older generation villagers, many of who do not drive. Without the bus they would not be able to get to the nearest shops which are at Heysham which is 2/3 miles away. Youngsters should not have to rely on parents to get out of the village. Its part of becoming independent not having to rely on parents all the time.

Our village bus service is vital for me and my family; cutting back the services is going to cause us massive issues, it's not like we can walk safely down the country lanes if we needed to.

My in laws live in o seton and if they don't have the bus service they won't be getting out as neither drive and she has rheumatoid arthritis and early dementia so the bus service is her only way of keeping to a routine she has been used to for the last 30-40 years
