The natural beauty of these trails are best preserved if they do not receive a coating of unnatural blacktop.

Do NOT pave the trails. So much easier on the body and mind to have a soft surface.

Keep the trail in a more wooded natural state. Our roads are in dire need of being paved. Save the asphalt for the streets.

Incredibly unsustainable to pave trails...poor for stormwater management, heat island effect, will heave with frosts defeating the purpose of paving and require costly maintenance. Not to mention hard on runners and dogs. Keep it pervious!

Please pave the roads, not the trails. Trails are in fine condition, walkable and rideable by old and young alike. No need to use time, energy, money and resources on this. Will actually detract from the experience of the trails in my view.

Allocate extra funding to lengthening and improving trails but please don’t use that funding to pave them.

As well as being more environmentally friendly, keeping the trails unpaved offers lower impact for the runners and walkers who use and enjoy them daily.

There is enough pavement everywhere. We don't need nature trails paved. Put the dollars to better use.
