Unpaved trails are easier on the joints for runners and preserve the natural beauty of our woodlands.

Whenever I have a choice of which trail to use, I almost always choose stone dust over asphalt. It’s easier on the knees and feet, and on the environment.

I am concerned about runoff from asphalt into our wetlands. Also, asphalt is more expensive to install and maintain, and doesn't provide the wonderful trails experience we can get with stone dust. Stone dust, properly installed, is ADA compliant. Seems a clear case to me.

Please keep the existing and future wooded trails made of Stone dust. Soft trails are much more enjoyable for all to enjoy!

As a frequent user of our nice trails, please keep them unpaved to maintain the experience of being on a trail in the woods.

I have lost count of the number of times I have almost been run over by people speeding too fast on bikes while I am hobbling along at 66 years old with Parkinson's. Please think of the elderly and disabled, and do not pave forest trails that should be enjoyed for their natural beauty.

I frequently bike on these trails. Stone dust is much better experience. The Blackstone River Bikeway is an example of the havoc roots eventually create for any wheeled vehicle on a paved trail.

Unpaved trails can be handicap accessible; accessible to bikers, hikers and runners; are preferred by horseback riders; are easier on the joints. Lastly, I don’t know of one nature lover who walks in the woods so they can be on pavement.

This trail is sought-out destination for me precisely because of its surface. The surface is a distance runner's dream and allows for optimal recovery and training purposes. If this trail were to be paved, the next best thing would be the rail trail in Holliston. Please maintain this trail's natural beauty and purpose!

I run or walk these trails several times a week for the very purpose of avoiding roads and paved sidewalks. Please keep them natural. Don't pave these little sections of paradise!

Trails should absolutely not be paved. It will take away from the experience of being on a trail.
