Seems to me, this is an example of small town, bureaucratic , narrow minded "officials" intent on closing what is likely the only tourist draw in the area.
Maybe the very nature of the exhibit, is an affront to the moral standards of a few!

My daughter and I just spent her 16th birthday at the mansion's overnight experience. These people were absolutely lovely, and went out of their way to make her party special. We even frequented some businesses in town because we happened to be there. We would never have even bothered to be in Stirling were it not for the Haunted Mansion. It is a shame that the minor complaints of a few individuals could shut down the only establishment Stirling has to make people want to visit. Once again, a few bad apples spoil the fun for the rest of the barrel.

My family has enjoyed many years going through the Haunted Mansion. It is a valuable part of Halloween! It also brings business to the small village of Stirling. Those who don't like it should turn the other way. Take a look in your own backyards and make sure you are perfect before you judge others. It is a great family activity and should be encouraged. Love it!!!

Is Stirling not interested in the tourist revenue this atraction brings to their community? Why would the administrator not assist in marketing this attraction and create a unique marketing strategy to increase tourist trade. They are totally throwing out an oppurtunity to put Stirling on the map. I hope they change their minds as I would live to come visit from Edmonton now that I know that this Haunted Mansion exists, and my tourist dollars will come too.

Stirling town council GROW UP!!! Pull up your big boy shorts and open your eyes that the Mansion is being preserved as YOUR national historical site and NOT renovated into a modern mess! As for the nosey busy body neighbors...........it could be worse a HALL could buy that house!!!
