Keep this fun place open. My kids have learned the values of volunteer work. And I have learned to laugh again and how to have fun.

Keep the haunt world alive! If you don't like what we do, don't visit. But let those that like it have an opportunity to enjoy it.

I concur with the views expressed by Richard and Glory Reimer in that it should never be irrational to prefer the good of the many to the interests of the few. May I remind the town council that your position is to act as representatives of the people and not rulers? This couple are 'of the people' and your decision to issue this order is in error. The harassment and bullying tactics taken by your office is reprehensible to say the least. This action is most likely to end badly for all of you at your town's next election, as you will most likely be voted out of office and shunned by your fellow residents. Govern yourselves accordingly, for you need the people far more than the people need any of you.

I work in film and I am a avid horror fan and I love Halloween and all things spooky. Canada does not have enough of places like this open to the public year long. I had never been to Stirling until I heard about the Haunted Mansion. I visited the Mansion a year ago with family and we all loved it, such a fun experience. It was put on and handled with care by people that love what they are doing. I think it would be such a shame if this attraction was to shut down. In my opinion Stirling should embrace The Haunted Mansion. I will pass this petition link on to all of my fellow horror fans so Stirling can stay scary!

silly and cruel, this stop order. what is the issue? anyone being hurt? also, if people make money off this in a small town it seems unusually cruel to take that from them in a place where jobs can't be in much abundance.

I currently work in Stirling and I am appalled by the community in this village. Maybe if the owners last name was Nelson or Edwards it would stay open.

as long as garbage and noise are kept respectful of the residential neibour hood and hours of operation do not desterb residents, they should be aloud to remain in business. I believe they should be grandfathered in.
