My family has been attending the south shore frolics for about 23yrs now. We attend each day of the event and have reached a group of about 15 people that come with. You can't find this anywhere, and it needs to be saved.

This has been a family tradition to go to south shore frolics. Which has been distinguished apart all other run of the mill firework festivals with the special blow up the beach. Without that specific display it will be just another fireworks display and will loose the enchantment of what it is now.

The blow up the beach is the highlight of the fireworks. My family travels to bayview because the show is so good (from brown deer and franklin)
I live very close to the fireworks in a 1920's house with no repercussions.

I've been going to the Southshore Water Frolics since before I was born and have only missed 1 or 2 years. I walked in the parade for many years as a child and would spend the entire weekend at Southshore park to take part in all that the Frolics had to offer. The best part had always been blowing up the beach. And now that I just had my first child and was so excited to share this awesome experience with her, I will not be able to. I was sad to see the parade struggle to be included so please don't take away another tradition of this neighborhood. Keep the fireworks as is.

These fireworks are an important part of Milwaukees heritage .it would be a shame to remove them from our younger citizens lives.
