Leave the fireworks alone! It's a tradition that of which 30 seconds upsets a very small minority. Blowing up the beach is what made the Frolics special. Too bad zielinski wasn't up for reelection this fall.

Me and my family support and watch the beach blow up for the past 32 years, can't believe people want to change this, never had a problem with anyone down there either,

ive been going to these fireworkz for my whole life y now change the show or y not jyst fo blow up beach one night no blow up beach no point just fireworks they're not special just plain fireworks I only go to see blow up beach if it's not there y even do it at all very body needs to just calm down

There needs to be a better vote I for one look forward to BLOW UP THE BEACH I was there when I was 12 yo 40 years ago and have taken my kids now grandkids just for that. Lived here all my life and it should be a vote for the whole area not just the ones that voted

The grandfinalie has been a tradition since i was in middle school, I'm now 50 years old. That's the best part of the frolics

It's tradition. Society is trying to remove all traditions. This is the longest running festival. If you move here you need to understand this is the tradition here. When in Rome.

since this has been tradition for like 40 years it means that it has been going on long before most people bought their houses in the neighborhood so it should be "grandfathered in." No reason a few complainers should be able to change this, it lasts a matter of a couple minutes each year. Deal with it or leave.

I have enjoyed the fireworks since the day my mom was released after giving birth to me in 1984 I wish the parade was still going on but at least the fireworks and the blow up the beach will be

This is so stupid,I was born and raised in Bay View.. This a tradition that has gone on for years.They have already lost the parade,which Hundreds and Hundreds of people attend,The Fireworks draw a huge crowd and one of the main attractions is the blowing up the beach part. It's really sad that it has come to this,but if you don't like it don't attend it,but why ruin it for everyone else..

You will lose a lot of people and money by doing away with the blow up the beach. I grew up in bay view and the only reason we come back for the frolics is to watch them blow up the beach.

With out blow up the beach . It will never be the same . And you may as well close it all down .

Tradition should not be spoiled by ignorance! More police patrol to deal with the aggressors that can't contain themselves!
