Carbine, in all it's wisdom, decided that the snarky remarks from the holocrypt guy need to be removed and replaced by some blank music.
This is one of the best features in the game at the moment, and currently receicing a lot of negative feedback from the player base due it's removal.
The arguments brought up by Carbine do not hold any ground. If you want to keep this holocrypt voice, then sign this petition and prevent this horrid change from going live in F2P.

the momentum behind this is honestly wild and it shows just how much we all love those snarky lines. devs have to notice that we dont want the personality stripped out of the game like this.

Biggest mistake you can make, Carbine. We love Wildstar because it didn't hold its punches and made fun of the player in playful and humorous ways. The minute you start trying to please everyone, you'll lose the very core of the game you built, and wind up with something of far lower quality.
Sure, the snark is annoying a time or two, but then you keep dying, and he gets downright /flirtatious/ . . it's just too absurd to take seriously, and I end up cracking up. Keep death amusing! It lowers frustration with the fact we have to run back to what we were working on!
How can anyone be offended by this, it's literally the thing that takes away the resentment of dying! If someone is offended by holocrypt snark, he/she might as well be offended by the fact that mobs attack them instead of hugging and spitting rainbows!
It's out of discussion the removal of the holocrypt ,like this is an important point when I try to convince my friends to play this game ,lol
I enjoy the crypt guy's comments. I would be okay with the default being off, but an option to turn the comments back on. The files are already there, don't throw away work that some of your users enjoy.

What?? Why?? How could you possibly think this would be good for the game in any way? The whole reason I even play Wildstar is because of the character of the game. If you start to strip out stuff like this, then you are removing the reason why players like myself have stuck around. If I wanted a generic MMO experience, there are any number of free MMOs out that I could choose besides this one.
