The ruby mountains are some of the least developed mountain ranges that remain in an easily accessible location within Nevada, and the United States. The mountains offer scenic experiences of aspen forest habitat, the only stable population of Himalayan snowcock in North America, a national recreation trail, traditional cultural properties, and two research natural areas. Current zoning was established in recognition of this important, untrammeled area. This zoning should not be changed at the behest one man who could conduct personal skiing on his private property already.

There is no reason for a private ski lift! We do not have enough resources as this year we are in a drought! I have lived in Spring Creek my whole life and I do not want to see our beautiful Ruby Mountains destroyed just because someone has money! Please think about our ranchers who depend on the water. Please think about the wildlife in the Ruby mountains. Please consider the folks that have lived here to enjoy natures beauty! Go ski at all the nearby resorts!

This is a real backdoor way of getting this resort through. Who needs FIVE chairlifts for friends and family??

Once scarred by developing a skin lift, the Rubies will never be as beautiful as they are now and have been for thousands of years. Keep our mountains pristine!

We moved here to get AWAY from big tourist towns and if this gets out in there is no way they will want it to stay private in the long run.

I have lived in Spring Creek all my life and have always loved to watch the town grow and develop. The one thing that we all love and appreciate to have is out mountains, but they aren't just a pretty attraction drawing the crowd, they provide for us. Allowing this type of development takes away from what we all receive from our mountian including much needed water resources. Not to mention something like this will also make cost of living which is already very expensive in this area. Go up. Not down. We don't need this kind of economy here. Thank you.

The awesome beauty of the Ruby Mountains is very unique as it is. It doesn't need to be turned into another ski resort ! We, as a nation need to fight back against the encroachment of concrete and desecration of natural, beautiful land marks, that cannot EVER be replaced !!!!

Once one is allowed, others will follow. We don't need/want this type of business here. It will start out as private and then he will apply for a commercial permit. The traffic is bad enough. The infrastructure is not equipped for it. I know money talks, but this is not where we give in to it.

We need our water for farming and for the ranches. We already pay too much for water and electricity. If this private resort happens all our bills will go up .

My house overlooks the Rubies. Rich folks coming here don't care a thing about our land. We do.

We also do not have the ability to handle the traffic. We will not be made responsible to pace the rest of the road Leading to his property either. This man’s dream doesn’t fit here.
