My biggest concern is for the underground water. Its limited & these commercial projects disguised as private property projects will affect the farmers, wild life, and surrounding aesthetic appeal of the Ruby Mountains.

Our water supply is already hurting. Our deer herds are already hurting. He's already slashed a huge ugly scar across the face of our mountain. How much irreversible damage will Elko county let him add? Chair lifts we all have to look ar? That's like graffiti on what God made. Plus increased housing costs and taxes. Plus extra traffic on our roads. Please don't let them do this.

Look speculators acquire land as they see fit. Looking to make profits. Local residents and ranchers could not afford the parcel, gearing The sale to developers out of the gate. The direct path to this project was blocked now the speculator is using the private development approach. I think even public supporters of the ski hill development need to recognize that they most likely will not be able to use the development--they will stare at it, only to never use it. We have access via heli services which upholds protection of the land.

Please deny the approval of the ski resort. Another rich Californian coming here to flaunt money and impress his buddies. If he wants Jackson hole he can go there and not ruin our Nevada landscape.

Leave the Ruby mountains as they are the last sacred bit of wilderness in the West.

I’ve lived here my entire life, local through and through. I’ve hunted those mountains since I was a young girl and am so sad that we even have this petition going. Those mountains mean more to locals than any developer will ever recognize or consider. It’s such a shame that money rules this world.
