As a former ref at SIRHL and clinic instructor this rink means alot to so many people. Helping children learn this great sport of roller was great , by closing the rink it will have a negative impact on the youth of today keep this rink open for the children to learn self confidence , sportsmanship , and it is a sport which children can do with their fathers and that is a great thing to do

Hockey is a well-loved sport on Staten Island and unfortunately a lot of people cannot afford ice hockey. Roller hockey is a great venue and it will be a real shame if this were closed

We need more places like this to keep kids busy and off the streets.

There is a critical demand for this facility to remain open and continue serving hockey families in our region.

There is already not enough space for kids and adults to play hockey on this island. Removing this rink would contribute to taking a positive and healthy activity away from kids in our area.

Without this rink the kids will end up on the streets, is that what you want. Some people just never learn, do they?
