I love the mom and pop shops and restaurants. Please don't replace them with big box stores.

My wife and I are both pharmacists and also residents of Eastlake I since 1988, then Eastlake II since 1991 and probably the HIGHLIGHT of our shopping and restaurants experience in Eastlake is Village Walk. It has been a very unique, charming, fun, welcoming, happy village due to its fountain, fish, statues of children playing, excellent sit down, family style restaurants and music tying it all together into a very tasteful, very enjoyable experience not found anywhere else in South Bay nor most of San Diego. We get lots of out of town visitors here and they never fail to comment on the wonderful atmosphere at Village Walk. We do NOT need a CVS there and its traffic will overwhelm the already tight parking and sterilize the atmosphere into just another strip mall. My wife and I are both pharmacists and are appalled at this decision that does not take into account the feelings of the residents who routinely use and enjoy Village Walk. We and our visitors never fail to comment on the wonderful atmosphere. Please take give this serious second thought as it would be a huge, probably irreversible detraction from what has made Eastlake so enjoyable for so many years. There is ample space elsewhere for a CVS apart from Village Walk. A CVS is NOT a fit for Village Walk. We need to preserve Village Walk. To whom else can we please appeal? Thanks

i actually drive from Spring Valley to dine at Via Lago. It would be extremely sad to see such a quality restaurant go. The atmosphere is lovely. People don't want to go to a drug store, they want variety and good quality restaurants!

We don't need another big box store destroying the charm of the Village Walk. Good restaurants are few and far between in Chula Vista and we can't afford to lose these two!

That is a beautiful center! A CVS would ruin the ambiance of the center!

Leave the restaurants and fountain alone. Life is much more than profit and dollars. Lives are far more priceless, and people feeling happiness and safety with their family out and about trumps profit. Leave the places alone.

Our community needs these wonderful restaurants, not another pharmacy.

Love this shopping center! Don't want or need a CVS there. Keep our neighborhood restaurants alone!
