You seem to be focusing solely on Via Lago. The main point of the emails and petition are against CVS. If you truly cared about the center and community, you would listen to the 1700 petition signers and their over 800 comments saying this is not what is needed nor wanted. How does it make financial sense to spend 100s of thousands of dollars to tear down a quarter of a beautiful shopping center, have a parking night are during construction, and put in a generic CVS drug store that no one wants? Regardless of Via Lago, Karina's is a profitable business and offering to move them to a smaller restaurant space is not an adequate alternative. Wouldn't it make more sense to keep them and leave Via Lago's space open for a while? It wouldn't disturb the shopping center, it wouldn't cost 100s of thousands of dollars, and it would keep your community happy. Please listen to your customers and community. This is not the solution. Even better, could you put on a town meeting and listen to the community and their opinion/ideas? You are dismissing 1700 customers and their families.

I absolutely support the restaurants and do not want another pharmacy in the area. That shopping center is beautiful and has a wonderful mix of nice businesses. The idea of putting a CVS only cheapens the entire shopping center...

Dear Sudbury Properties, Do Chula Vista a big favor.... Leave the Village Walk alone! Sell all of your property interests! Leave town and never come back! Regards, David Puskaric

Please keep the restaurants open. It is sad when business owners who does not reside from This neighborhood makes decisions not considering actual residents concerns. Keep both restaurants open please!!! Errol Basa

There are literally 3 restaurants right there. Why put a CVS when there is a Rite Aid across the street, a Walmart and a Walgreens not even a mile down the same road? Eastlake is already so limited on good restaurants.. don't take those two away!

you have the nicest shopping center in East Chula Vista. Please don't wreck it by putting in the CVS and taking out two restaurants. We have so few good restaurants to choose from already
