Keep the Washington Redskins Name

Our government should have more important things to do. Leave this name alone!

Enough bowing to the PC Weenies! Stay strong guys. I'm glad to see all the other problems in DC have been fixed so that they have the time to waste on this non-issue.... oh wait!

I do NOT see any reason to change the name of the Redskins. It is not offensive by any means. I am part Native American and could care less. Grow up America. You are trying to be too Politically Correct. We should probably take these sports team names as respect or tribute to the Native Americans.

lets compare. Redneck vs Redskin. Redneck is term most society uses in as a derogatory word for certain white people.... however the people who are supposed to be directly affected by this do not see it as a slight, but as a term of endearment. Just ask Jeff Foxworthy. However those same people who try and use this word as a word of hate, are the same ignorant folk who want to take yet another term and vilify it when the reality is that the name was picked to pay tribute. Not as a derogatory term. so the voice of a few shall undo the truth's of many? America... we surely need a coming to Jesus moment.....

I'm Native Anerican and I'm in no way offended by the name. Been a Redskin fan as long as I can remember.

Keep the Redskins name

I have been a Redskins follower/fan and supporter since like 1973...I have found memories of games on tv and have always loved the Skins. Liberals have nothing better to do with their time so they find obscure causes like this one. Liberals are losers, like the Cowboys...Go Redskins!

I definitely support the name... I will also say that I hope Harry Reid and any other politicians who choose to support the destruction of something so important to so many rather than spending time trying to fix whats wrong with America, burns in hell.

It stands for strength, honor and pride. It is who I am.

I'm tired of the "Word Police" trying to destroy the name the team has had since the beginning. Many Native Americans also want the name to stay!

I like the Redskin name. There is no offense. Cowboy that wiped out the Redskin may be offensive. But this is entertainment industry, it is all for shown and game. Enjoy!

Keep the name. You never have a mascot that is weak. You always pick a mascot you can respect and you feel shows your teams honor.
