I MAY HAVE A WHITE NAME, THE NAME REDSKIN IS WHAT I'AM TODAY. I'AM PROUD TO BE NAVAJO/MOJAVE NATIVE. I LOVE FOOTBALL AND THE WASHINGTON REDSKINS. ALL THE PEOPLE WHO DONE WRONG IN THE PAST TO THE REDSKINS A.K.A NATIVE AMERICANS. STAY OUT OF THIS MATTER. US NATIVES NEED TO STICK TOGETHER AND SUPPORT THE WASHINGTON REDSKINS. ALL THE OTHER NATIVES WHO SAYS ITS WRONG, YOU ARE MISSED GUIDED AND ARE STUCK IN THE WHITEMANS WORLD.

What has this country come to?? What happen to our freedoms? First an owner is forced to sell a basketball team because of a PRIVATE comment made to his girlfriend and now they are forcing a football team to change its name because someone?? has now decided its offensive?! Snyder and Goodall - don't let our freedoms become further deteriorated by letting the patent agency perform this illegal act. Fight for the Redskins and all their long-standing fans!!

this has been your name for 82 years why change it. I cannot believe they've removed your trademark .That is a slippery slope.

This is a assault by Obama and Reid on private property rights. This is your lawless President at work. I compare this to the IRS scandal, "You Change or We Will Intimidate The Hell Out of You!" Dan Snyder stand up to the bullying of Americans.

Every native I spoke with in Arizona feels proud of the name, in fact that is the reason they like the team. This is about greed more than political correctness.

If some find the name "White House offensive are we to paint it and call it the "Blue House" or "Yellow House"

Native Americans have commented that they are not offended by the name. Let the team keep it's name.

This BS and political correctness about being offended is absurd. I'm offended every day by something I read, watch on TV, hear from our worthless politicians, but what recourse do I have. We've gotten to the point where everyone is spending so much time apologizing, that the real issues of this Country are being ignored. Also, talk about Government over-reach. This is a prime example. I think I'm ready to change my party affiliation. And, what's with Howard Stern putting in his two cents. He's made millions of dollars offending people. I say go after the music industry because of all the offensive language that our teenagers are listening too --- that's way more serious than the name of a football team. If what I read was correct, three people at the Patent Office took a vote and it was 2 to 1 in favor of cancelling the Redskin Trademark? That blows my mind.

If they are forced to change their name, then everything named Gringo's should have to change theirs. If all this keeps going on we can be called Little Russia soon. This name NEVER even made me think of Indians, it is just a name!
