This is especially important given the new Westbard development which will add many more students.
Thank you

You do realize that we are way over fire code capacity at lunch and have had 4 lunches for over 7 years already. Kids are eating in classrooms, the hall, and in the courtyard if it isn't raining.
Storage is a major issue. We weren't built for this number. Not even close!

Interesting, ... MCPS boldly declares that they can handle add'l students generated by the proposed Westbard development .... and yet, the truth is laid bare here: MCPS cannot handle the problems that currently exist in the Whitman cluster. Folks, sign the letter at savewestbard.com while you're at it.

These schools are packed the gills as it is and it is only going to get worse in the future. Such crowding is impacting the education of our children and any delay would be shameful. If anything... the expansions projects should be ACCELERATED.

Please help our schools! Our kids are suffering - small class size is KEY to students success. We are currently one of the best school districts in the country. Let's keep it that way!

I have a child at each school and agree that the additions need to stay on track. Considering how long it takes to get funding, and complete a project (the Bradley Hills project took about 8 years start to finish), a delay is not tolerable. Please put these additions back on track!

I have daughters at both Whitman and Pyle and the overcrowding is so bad that it makes me consider moving out of county. It is truly appalling. Please help ASAP!!

Sustain funding for Pyle Middle School and Whitman High School. My Granddaughters go to these schools (one in each school). Each school is already gravely overcrowded. Do not reduce any present funding . I am a registered voter living within walking distance of these schools. They are excellent in academics and sports and the arts and science math and engineering.

It is crazy that the County is going to allow more development in Westbard, but not ensure that school capacity is increased before that development impacts the ALREADY OVERCROWDED schools. What is the matter with you people?

There are more than 30 kids in the class rooms at Pyle. We know this isn't good for learning.

We need our public officials to stand strong and lead to ensure funding is available to make much needed improvements and additions to Pyle and Whitman. These schools are currently over crowded and lack capacity to handle the projected growth in the coming years.
Whitman/Pyle can't wait for expansions.
This is especially important given the new Westbard development which will add many more students. Thank you
