Please. This cluster is in desperate needs of improvement and investment. There is no space in either the middle or high school; it is very overcrowded. And it's shabby.
Both schools are already significantly over-capacity, and the numbers are only growing.
The school system is largely what attracts families to this area; and the system, over the years, has lost ground and is no longer looking so impressive.

I have one child at Pyle and the other Whitman. I can tell you these schools are crowded and desperate for additions!

The crowding keeps getting worse and worse and worse...and we really are at a breaking point right now. The funding should remain - and the projects for Pyle and Whitman should move forward. Our fabulous teachers and administrators can only do so much with the space per student shrinking ...

Crowding at Pyle has already reached dangerous levels - i.e. "fire codes" in the cafeteria. The extension is necessary immediately.

Pyle Middle School is extremely crowded. This is particularly apparent in the gym and cafeteria, where students regularly have to compete for space intended for far fewer students. Please keep additions on track with the fastest timeline possible. Thank you! Kris Rengert

Lower montgomery county gets forgotten even though we are the tax base for the state. We have infrastructure issues that must be addressed. Please move forward with incredibly necessary Pyle MS and Whitman HS additions. Thank you.

Pyle is a ridiculously small school for the number of students. If you don't believe me, walk the halls during class changes. Our students need any addition that is planned....soon.

Development is continuing and these already overcrowded schools must be adjusted accordingly. This is a high and urgent priority, the project must not be delayed.

There are 30+ kids in my son's AP world history class. It's limiting to discussion and higher level learning. We need these additions. And, we need the Council to take the overcrowding into consideration as they vote on the Westbard redevelopment. It is shortsighted to think families won't live in apartments and townhouses.
