Good luck. All the effort which has gone before deserves not to be lost.

it would be a sad lose to reginal theatre and the arts as a whole, let alone the people of Bradford if we were to lose this wonderful space.

At a time when Bradford is emerging from the shadows of 50 years of decline, multiple recessions and repeated Govermental neglect we need to preserve as much heritage as we can. Allowing a change of use would cut the thread to JB priestley, Billy Whitelaw, and all those whose talent started to shine there. Please choose to respec the past and look to the future.

This place deserves to stay open, it has a loyal staff and lots of potential and is vested in the community.

This is a fabulous theatre run by a great team. Please don't close such a great asset to a good city. Please don't let it go to waste. Thank you to all involved.

Where can the next generation of actors, directors, writers, technicians and so on gain a start without places such as the Playhouse? This is an essential part of Bradford's artistic and cultural infrastructure, accessible to the wider community, where people from all walks of life can become involved. At a time when the arts are becoming the increasing preserve of an affluent upper middle class, venues such as the Playhouse keep the door open for greater diversity. It must be retained for current and future generations.

I love this place. It is a centre for community arts that helps arty people connect even if they don't have much money. I have been an audience member and a performer there many times. It is a beautiful place and one of the happiest places I can think of.
