The Playhouse is an excellent venue, both from the point of view of putting on shows and watching them. It provides community theatre groups with a proper venue at an afforable price, increasing the opportunity for the arts in Bradford. The building is quirky and it would be a shame for its purpose and history to be lost.

Bradford is having a renaissance, we may have neglected the playhouse in recent years but it can be a part of that rejuvination. It just needs a little help like everything else in Bradford city centre it has been a bit neglected recently but now is the time to save it and cherish it and help it back to life! Vive la Bradford!

Bradford Playhouse plays a big part in a lot of aspiring performing arts enthusiasts. It haa community at its heart showcasing some of Bradford's talent both on stage and behind the scenes. To lose this building would be tragedy not only to those who use her but also for Bradford's heritage.

This building and the people who use it are at the heart of Bradford. What is a City without a heart? I moved to the area and being part of the Playhouse has given me experience that helped get me a promotion at my day job, a chance to create theatre, a fantastic circle of friends and many more opportunities. We can not afford to lose this space and the chance for the next generation to have the same chances.

I am an active member of two local theatre groups, one of whom recently staged a performance at the Bradford Playhouse, and the other of whom is currently using the Playhouse as a rehearsal venue for an upcoming performance at the Edinburgh Fringe festival in August. It would be a great loss for both myself and my theatre groups if this beloved Playhouse were to be changed for any other purpose.
please help keep this piece of heritage
