Ms. Vikita Bell Hardwrick made my transition to Henderson a smooth one and was always a great source of encouragement. She is one of those people we talk about that help make Henderson "The School with a Heart."

This is absurd!! Please keep this wonderful lady who is the heart and soul of this University!! Enrollment is not due to one person but enrollment is lacking because of the negative reputation that the university has developed over the last ten years!! This is from an alumni who loved every moment spent at that school!

I haven't had the opportunity of meeting Ms. Vikita Bell Hardwrick, but I have heard so many positive things about her through my son. It's almost unbelievable that a situation such as this is occurring. A person of her standards should never lose her position or even consider being replaced after Twenty-two years of excellent service. I will continue to pray that God work everything out for Ms. Vikita in her favor.

Vikita is one of the most influential people on campus that I know. As a formal non-traditional student, and now alumni, I believe that Vikita is everything that the "school with a heart" describes itself to be! I stand with and for her! She is the best part of HSU!!

My major professor recently told me that he spent the majority of his time advising students, not preparing lectures. It has been quite some since I was in college, but I know the value of his impact in my life. Vikita is down to earth and connected with this community. In one conversation, I witnessed with my own eyes and ears how she made a connection with my daughter about returning to college. Vikita's ability to connect with the community and the HSU students is a valuable asset. I have been out of college for nearly 20 years. I still reap the benefits of the man that listened to my problems and advised me, encouraged me, and kept me in grad school. Vikita's intangible ability to connect with students is very valuable. I pray the HSU continues to allow her to connect the campus to the community and it's students that need her intangibles at this stage of their journey.

I remember Mrs. Hardwrick during my time at HSU. She was a big influence on me and made my time at HSU a whole better & easier. Why fix what isn't broken. She isn't broken. My alma mater has to do better. Smh.
