It is clear that Ms. Vikita has been a blessing to a lot of people on Henderson State's campus, including mine. I could go on and on about how she has helped me and what a great inspiration she has been to me. I would love it if she were able to keep her position. God has a plan for her life. If it is meant for her to stay, then He will make that happen. However, Henderson will regret this decision greatly if they "transfer" her.

Vikita gave me my first job after graduation as an admissions counselor, and for that I am forever grateful. She is a light to all who meet her, and the school and community will be losing if she is removed. Why not use the salary that has been set aside for the new provost position to upgrade the admissions systems.

Mrs. Hardwick is one of the most intelligent women I know. Not only she recruits new students but she also leads the student body of inspirations to the HSU students and remains to always touch basis with me in being a part of the alumni foundation. HSU will be loosing one of the most respectful, hardest, uplifting, and positive Pilar that is well known. Mrs. Hardwick has worn her shoes in this position and it only fits for her. If someone comes in to resume this position, I know that individual will have a hard time finding the fit to achieve what she has always given to HSU because she is one of the many reasons Henderson has been know as the "School of the Heart".

This woman needs to stay exactly where she is. The title of this petition says it all. She is the PILLAR of HSU. I can honestly say people will probably go so far as to transfer out if she isn't there. She must stay. We love you and fully support you Ms. Vikita.
