Upon arrival at HSU almost fifteen years ago I was greeted by Vikita in the admissions office. Vikita took the time to walk me through each stage of admissions, shared information about core programs and campus life and later personally enrolled me into the university. I didn't realize she was the director until much later because she was so warm, inviting, and personable. I have witnessed her work tirelessly at college fairs, in the community and on campus promoting HSU to increase enrollment. Vikita is a living example of what our Reddit Spirit is all about. She has dedicated almost half her life to the betterment of HSU and for this I applaud you!!! God will turn this around in your favor! No weapon formed against you shall prosper! You have impacted the lifes of so many! Your legacy will live on!!!

Please keep her. She helps a lot of people behind the scenes. If we lose her, we will lose a counselor as well.

Vikita is one of the most kind hearted people Henderson has. I have known her for many years and she is not only good at her job but she genuinely cares for the students that come to Henderson. I hope she gets to keep her job and continue to do what she loves. You don't stay somewhere for twenty-two years for your job to just get it taken away from you. That's just wrong!

Mrs. Vikita has helped me a great deal especially starting our at HSU. It was her that mentored me and provided me with excellent advice and leadership skills. She is needed and should not be replaced!

While I disagree with parts of this petition such as zero communication between faculty and students. I strongly support Ms. Vikita and her actions in this position. This woman is amazing and if we force her out through something like this Henderson State University does not deserve to be called "The School with a Heart"
