There is too much traffic as it is. The commercial space @ DC Ranch Corporate Center is a parking problem already with its use for events on weekends. Quite simply, this area cannot handle the traffic and parking that comes with this project.

I am totally opposed. First of all you put 200+ apartments into what was supposed to be condos. And now this. There is no way the roads can handle this much additional traffic. It's a nightmare now as it is. Opposed to noise light pollution. Too many conflicts of interest and shady dealings to get this pushed through.

Not in favor of a sports complex for GH. Tax dollars should not be used for this purpose.

A sports complex is wrong for this location (excessive traffic, noise, pollution. and it is in complete disregard for the "dark skies" philosophy). Traffic in this area is already very bad. The land was donated for use as a park by all citizens of Scottsdale, not for the priority use of Great Hearts Academy. This plan gives the appearance that GHA is being given special consideration to build a sports complex because of their connections to the mayor (even if the mayor recuses himself). City Council members please uphold the deed restrictions and keep the property for its intended use.

The character and scale of the Sports Complex proposal is inappropriate for DC Ranch and the nearby community. The dedication of the park property to the City was not a blank check to politicians to gain political favors at the expense of the residents who were the intended beneficiaries of the land donation.
It would be an exciting opportunity for the community to oversee the design a sustainable neighborhood park, consistent with the Vision of DC Ranch.

Sorry Great Hearts a park should be a park. What you are proposing is wrong. Development for a Sports Complex is not needed and wrong according to how the property was originally supposed to be.

Scottsdale should not be using tax payer dollars to benefit a charter school. This should be a park for all citizens to enjoy.

I'm against this development. We already have too much traffic, noise and unwanted folks! We do not need a sports complex. As a home owner in Ironwood Village we are completely against this. This is not what the park was intended to be.

I'm against a sports complex the GHA.. Too much noice traffic and no dark skies. Come on this is wrong. As a Scottsdale property owner the Mayor and City Counsel disgusts me with what you are doing to our city.

I am an Ironwood Village homeowner, since 2004, and native Arizonan. I believe the park should serve the original intended purpose of being a neighborhood park.

This is just one more of the many recent examples of our City Council playing fast and loose with ethics, land, and taxpayers' money. The only real solution is to choose, nominate and elect morally sound people who care about our community instead of their cronies pocketbooks.
