That area is an access for those of us in Desert Haciendas to reach Pima Road. Turning south on Pima out of Trailside is already very difficult - don't make it worse!

I believe Great Hearts has embarked on a bait-and-switch tactic to control and illogically planned 3 acre site with the plan to coerce DC Ranch residents into allowing a move to the larger City site. The 13 acre site plan grossly underutilizes the property in terms of usable amenities for DC Ranch residents.

The city must not arbitrarily alter master plans. Otherwise, the public can no longer make educated decisions because we will never be able to trust what has been deemed as reliable information.

We purchased is DC Ranch knowing that the land was to be a quiet park if ever developed. How can the City of Scottsdale disregard a legal document that was designed to protect the DC Ranch property values and quality of life. Stop the City and Greedy Hearts from breaking the law!

We just purchased Jan 2017. We also were sold a park not largest multi-sports complex with lights on until 11pm at night. DC Ranch Community Council is in BLATENT disregard to their own DC Ranch Residents. Why is this?

This is not the park design that was bonded in 2003 or when we purchased our home in 2008. Imagine if you purchased a home with the expectation that land would be a community park and they put a lighted football field in essentially your back yard. As an alternative, doesn't the City of Scottsdale own Westworld? Wouldn't that be an ideal location for something like this? Much of the infrastructure is already in place and it would not impact surrounding residents with light pollution or higher traffic volumes?

We purchased in DC Ranch with the expectation of that land being used for a Park.

We do not want the park. My contract 11 years ago promised a small park that's it!

Please council members, not more favoritism for the high end areas of the city. We've seen this over and over. Let them buy their own 12.5 acres. PS - for those that don't get it, charter schools are NOT public schools.

There are 16 community parks in Scottsdale and 25 neighborhood parks. Not one of these 41 parks has a track or football field. This open space was deeded to the City of Scottsdale for a public park, not to be a sports complex for Great Hearts Acadamies.

We need to keep it as a park as it was intended not a taxpayer supported athletic facility for a select charter school's use.

Please oppose this private corporation use of taxpayer dollars and usurping of the intended use of the land donated for a community park.

As a D.C. Ranch resident, I strongly oppose Great Hearts getting primary use of what has always been slated as a public park.

It would be disastrous to the community
