Keep the original cast in the Northern Exposure Revival!

To replace the originals with millenials will be a travesty and an outrage. I will boycott this blasphemy by refusing to partake in viewership.

It was the original cast that made this brand magic, and I seriously doubt a new cast can do that again. Nor will I be very interested in seeing the final result if it doesn't have the original cast. Please do this right with the entire original cast. That is who the fans want to see. Otherwise it is more of a spin off than reboot and shouldn't carry the brand name. Spinning off a show at 20 years old isn't very true to the original community. We're here to revisit the magic the original cast brought to this show.

As many of the original cast as possible, or what's the point?

Adding new people to the original cast would be acceptable. That's a way to keep things fresh. Cutting the original cast is not acceptable. Really, what's the point?

Bringing in new cast members is good because the time line has to go on since we left Cicely. But the ‘magic’ that still exists from the show is in the original characters. They should all be at the least, offered their roles in the reboot (RIP Ruth Ann & Walt). If they are not interested, then so be it... But it would be foolish on behalf of the creators to think that this can be successful, without as many of the originals as possible.

Every single living cast member needs to be in this otherwise there is no point at all .

I totally understand Marketing. I work for one if the oldest brands of shoes in the US. My brand started in the eighteen hundreds to be exact. As modern retail strives to stay viable, we cater to an emerging customer but guess WHAT...we still sell boots we made 45 years ago and the new customer loves them so we win and the loyal customer stays and we all profit. Don’t be modern idiots CBS. You had some of the most talented writers in history on NE. That cast can resonate today and capture a new audience! Rethink all of your past episodes with subject matter completely relevant for today. Gay marriage, age, sex, circumcision, women in power, anti gun, pro guns... the subjects made the show and the actors made the memories. You can have it all just WRITE it in! Please include the whole karmic enchilada, not just some chips & salsa as a tease. Some new flavors are fine samples, but classic Coke endured to wash down that enchilada!

No Janine or cynthia geary, no me spending my time watching

This was my favorite TV show & was heart broken when it ended. I recorded many of the episodes & bought a collection of DVD’s and watch them when I need my fix. I drove to Rosalyn/Cicely to see where it was filmed. I want the cast to come back together & make another episode (or series). Ann Lundquist from Drake, Colorado (not too different than Cicely, Alaska).
