It is apparent that this reboot will be an epic fail. Without the original cast and the show's creators, the reboot will lack the unique qualities that made NX the classic that it is. Clearly some story lines would have to change and some let go altogether, as well as the introduction of some new characters to drive the action, but to erase what made the project work so well and dump Rob Morrow and a bunch of new cast members into it and not even include Darren Burroughs? The reboot is doomed bc fans of the old show won't watch it and new viewers won't see the point. It might as well be a pager for what use it will be.

No way without everybody

The original cast are key to the success! Not all of them have been approached, yet they are keen to be involved!

Northern Exposure is the PEOPLE and the PLACE. A reboot without the original cast or Roslyn will destroy the magic that made the original work!

You MUST have the original case (as many as are available) including Janine Turner and Darren Burrows!!

Original Cast or nothing! U cant do it without Darren, he has worked too damn hard to be left out of a reboot. The whole idea was original cast. Listen to the fans who are responsible for the cult following this show has.

Rob Morrow left the show in the interest of his “career”. Now he reboots a show he left and leaves out the original cast? Unacceptable. No Maggie, no Ed, and all the other Ciclians we know and love? No point in watching!

It will not be any good without them.

If you don’t keep all the original cast, we fans won’t be watching it. Rob Morrow is great, but far from enough. You need us fans, the millennials will not put in enough brain cells to appreciate it. Also, if this goes on a pay channel, you might as well stop writing now.

Northern Exposure got me through the horrors of high school. The idea of a reboot not having the original cast is - to put it bluntly - actually painful to think about.

If a Northern Exposure reboot is to happen, it needs to have as many of the original cast who want to participate. My suspicion is that excluding Janine Turner is because of her conservative politics. Please prove me wrong! I know that much of Hollywood is liberal, as is Rob Morrow. Don't BS us that a younger cast is needed when Rob Morrow and Janine Turner are of a similar age. If you want us to view the reboot, then include the original cast members!

It’s not worth it if we don’t have the original cast. I won’t be watching it if this happens. The show isn’t just about Fleishman.
