The process taking place to close the CEIU is not only undemocratic and goes against the interest of our Ontario members, but also goes contrary to our core values. Hence, it should be overturned.

How dare the CEIU even think that this is a viable option. I pay my UNION DUES for REPRESENTATION (does anyone remember the Boston Tea Party)?!? I’m LIVID!!! I want my Union Office in Toronto and for my Union to effectively represent me they have to have a PRESENCE, they must be ACCESSIBLE, they must be able to ENGAGE those that they are representing! Please DO NOT do us (CEIU members) in Toronto such a GREAT injustice/disservice! Thank You/Merci

The members of local 569 are strongly against this move. This was done without consulting the local leadership in our region to determine how we would be affected by this loss. There better solution this if we all put our heads together; none of which is closing the office !!!!
