The name needs to stay the same. My entire family attended this school and it was a honor to follow them. It was and still is a very mixed school. We need to leave history in tact. Where better than in a school?!

I have lived here all of my life and attended Stonewall when it was a high school. To change the name is absurd. The Civil War did happen and because of it WV became a state. A lot to consider; will WV's name be changed as well?

Changing the name of Stonewall Jackson Middle School because the name "might" offend someone is ridiculous! Get over yourselves people!! Let's not make problems where there aren't any. There are real issues in the world that deserve our energy and concern.
