There is nothing wrong with recognition of a native West Virginian. This person wanting it changed has said nothing about Stonewall Jackson resort, lake, dam, or Jackson's Mill. It makes me think the person has ill feelings toward the school for some other reason. And since she feels it is a racist reason, why does she not have an issue with Robert C. Byrd high school? Byrd was a member of the kkk at one time and Stonewall Jackson never even owned a slave.

This is one of the most ridiculous things I have ever heard. I am about the most liberal person one can ever meet, and I fight daily to combat ignorance and prejudice, but really, this does nothing to combat either, is a waste of time and money, and would, in no way shape or form, benefit anyone.
