Leave history alone. This country was founded on freedom and God. Everyone is getting away from that for some reason. Let history be history and leave the name alone

I didn't attend here but it is just wrong to change the name on so many levels. How would everyone feel if petitions were started to change the name of things that were named after anyone that wasn't Caucasian? They wouldn't like it.

The Confederate leaders are an important part of history and should not be shunned. They fought hard for this country and should be remembered with all other military personnel. I am proud that Stonewall Jackson is from West Virginia and should be honored for his part in history. History cannot be changed.

This is ridiculous! T.J. "Stonewall" Jackson was a war hero and this is a 75 year old school. In order to be considered historic the building only has to be 50 years old. So technically they should even be allowed to do this! This world is so use to complaining and getting their way, Americans are basically spoiled children and sometimes need to be told NO.

Stonewall Jackson was a war hero who fought for his beliefs. Whether you agree with him or not, he had the intelligence and the courage to fight what he felt was right...preserving States' Rights. Those are qualities I am sure he learned during his upbringing in West Virginia.
