Enough is enough America. All you are doing is dividing us more and more to the point the next Civil War will take place. You can't change history.

Not an alum, but Why can't we just find other things more worthy to fuss about. Leave the name and feed hungry children or something!

I graduated from Stonewall Jackson High in 1971. I am African American and received a high quality education, established long lasting friendships and had a great high school experience. Save the name.

Stonewall Jackson was an honorable man and patriot. He sided with his home state of VA. It is sad that they now want to change the name. I AM OFFENDED BY THIS!

I went to Stonewall, my wife went there, and my three children went there. Never in all those years has anyone talked or had a problem with this name. Where is it going to stop? first the confederate flag, now this? next will be George Washington high as George Washington was a slave owner, How about the Robert C. Byrd Fed. Building, he was a member of the KKK? Next is street names, changing Dixie street, Washington street etc... The current name gives pride to the West Side, not racism! Stonewall is an established name and should not be changed. It is a landmark that people, both white and black, are proud of. Many, many older black men and women are proud of their years at stonewall and talk about it with pride.
