I did some math and with the shuttle vs. the Greyhound you save roughly $369 per semester!!! I came up with an estimate of the cost differences between the shuttle and if you took the greyhound! So for 1 semester of college using the Shuttle pass its $395. A semester goes from September to December so roughly 4 months. I looked into Greyhound passes and they have a monthly pass for $165 per month. If the student discount applies to this pass you would save 25% on it which would bring it down to roughly $120 a month. I looked into how much a city monthly bus pass is in Hamilton and it is $71 a month for students. So for four months of using the Greyhound alone is $480. Then you'd be paying for the city bus on top of that and the cost for 4 months is $284. Add it all together and its $764 give or take for only 1 semester! That is outrageously expensive!
