The students in the LINC program are permanent resident holders. They have already been accepted into Canada. How are they supposed to adjust to life in Vancouver if they don't learn English or ASL? This program has been around for 30+ years and has helped so many newcomers thrive here. Please continue funding for the LINC program.

Please consider the policies that turned out to be a mistake. Where are 20000 student visa holder who never showed up at their universities? Why not spending country's resources on LINC students who study who learn English to be part of this country's workforce. Why spending country's resources on non residents of this country? Many decisions turned out to be a mistake: ArriveCan, recruiting hundreds of thousands of international students and letting them obtain work visa through different streams, hard drugs and pharmacies who showed int he recent report. How could you spend our taxes money on whatever you like and not spend it on what is the best for all citizens? Where does billions of dollars of this country's income go that you can't support the LINC program. I want clarification.

If immigrants arrive in Canada with ambitions to contribute to society, how can they achieve cultural, social, and economic integration and success without programs like what VCC offers? This training is essential and is for immigrants already here and those who will arrive. That’s why it has been in place for 40+ years. Short-sighted to eliminate a core training program with no plan and little notice. Poor governance decision by the federal government politicians.

The Federal Government's decision sounds so bad. It was like you were watching TV and he just unplugged it. At least, give one year for a soft landing!

Delay the cancellation by a year to allow for the proper consideration of the needs of students

I really need these LINC because I came to Canada and didn't know English at all. And now I already have level five, so for me it is very necessary and very important.

I believe this has been a political move with little thought of the chaos it brings.
