Veterans no matter which war they served in deserve to be honored.

History is History leave it alone and let's not repeat it. Taken down these statues does nothing more than make the otherror side mad and then the hate and fight begin. Let's face it and leave the statues alone and teach history

Time for the millenials to grow up and stop being so sensitive. Leave history alone.

Removing historical landmarks also removes what they mean and how we have moved forward.

Removing statues does not erase history! Unless YOU were alive during that era of time & have some sort of PTSD from it, I don't really believe that you should be offended by it!

keep the memorial. It is part of history, you remove this remove all the Martin L. King stuff, rename streets after him, remove the bust that was done. What are we coming to this is history you cant change it. Worry about our veterans, the homeless, abused children, and our economy, I am so over this crap.

Do not erase History because of these sick people. Our History has good and bad but we must stand up for what is right for all and not for these radical groups.

This is a historical statue, I do not understand why people cannot see that these statues do not stand for hate or slavery, they stand for history. Come on everyone what happened in Pensacola happened, why does anyone want to erase history. Oh, that is right...that is the plan to erase history that you don't like.

We are living Orwell's 1984. Federal education has indoctrinated America's youth with revisionist's history to despise America and accept Communism and Globalism. We cannot go back, but only with truth can we hope to not repeat. Enough!

This memorial commemorates history. These men fought for something they believed was their's. They did it for their states, something they were loyal to like our soldiers are loyal to our country. For that reason, this memorial should stay.
