Please don't close the ice rink. Its a fun sport and a great activity for everyone. Its a great place and needs more credit and attention.

If they are closing, does anyone know if they are going to open up an ice rink in a nearby warehouse for cheaper rent and overheads?

The ice rink is a great way to in force team building, an additional sport that brings South Africans together, an essential place for employment/workers in a struggling South Africa where unemployment rates are high. It is more than a sport and a place to work for individuals, for many it is a way to express their interests, for many the ice hockey is an essential part of their identity and pride.

The ice rink should not be closed down it was a great hangout spot for friends and family and I enjoyed it very much
