Stop trying to ban our hobbies. It makes sense to try and keep local businesses in the town going, as well as encouraging visitors to the town

People have been able to fish off the end of the pier for many years. There would be not detriment if it were to continue.

To the new owner of the pier just remember that if dishing stopped not only are u taking a past time away but also the livelihood of a valued trader and potentially encouraging kids from occupying the spare time to a good sport and not causing grief and vandalism and crime ....fact

The Waverley Paddle Steamer and the Balmoral passenger ships both visited the Pier ( before neglect of the landing stage ) . The fishing and the ships co-existed very well .

fishing must stay at the pier there is no need for the fishing to be stopped due to Health and Safety reasons as work wil not be carried out all in one go The works will take ages to be done and the tackle shop should be allowed to carry on trading life is not all about lions and gold paint

The pier should stay as it is and should be free to visit, as it always has been.
Its a tradition and should NEVER be stopped!!!
