It would be a shame to see the fishing go it is part of visiting the pier and also the good fishing with it.

New owner should not change anything

Thought the new owner was going to listen to the wishes of Eastbourne?

Used to fish there as a kid with family. My cousin still does, and I'd love to join him on my next visit.

There's been fishing on the pier long than I can remember so leave the fishermen along get to fish as they have for years

Please review your plan to stop fishing off the pier, a lot of people young and old get much pleasure from this tradition. If you 'love' Eastbourne as much as you claim please reconsider.

This is a tradition that should be preserved on the pier, certainly not removed.

please dont stop fishing on the pier its the best place to take my grandsons its not very good on the beach as being only small they cant cast far enough from the beach

The guy has no idea about British traditions . Fishing on the pier has been a tradition for as long as I remember what's he going to do paint it gold and stick a couple of lions on the end ?

Please do not stop the fishing on Eastbourne Pier, it was the first place I fished as a child and I still regularly fish there now I am retired.
