Restore the pier to its former glory. This guy has no interest in what the town want. All he's interested in is making money. He should not have been aloud to buy the pier.

I've only just started getting into fishing, me and my partner love to go to the pier and fish, I find it so relaxing and enjoyable. Why stop a thing that's been there for all this time? Just cause you want to make the pier your own and charge people to go onto it!! Fishing is part of Eastbourne and Hastings history, don't take it away from us like you have the pier and everything else.

Been visiting eastbourne since I was younger now I live hear,this is 1 of the only piers u can fish in the country they can't stop the fishing in a fishing town

I fish the pier a lot from a boy till now I would hate to see it stopped as my kids would like to fish it

I was born in Eastbourne in 1949 and still living here with my husband, children & grandchildren. I remember my parents taking me to see the fishermen at the end of the pier. Fishing here must continue well into the future.
