I know lots of people who enjoy fishing off the pier- it's a nice thing to see as you walk round.

This is a fantastic venue for young and old alike also those with disabilities can fish here, Aaron is a top bloke really friendly and helpful and keeps the places neat and tidy. Us anglers are slowing getting less easy access venues to fish due to development but the piers should be kept for the pleasure of all which includes angler like myself,
Tight Lines and here's to Eastbourne Pier being a fishing venue for many years to come,
Regards,
Tim.

these fishing spots at the end of the piers are as much part of our heritage as anything else, and our right to use, why should one person have the right to stop it.

I have disabled friends who cannot get to the beach to fish, this is a terrible blow to the people of Eastbourne, most EB children first learned fishing with their parents on this very spot.
