Every kid that gets hooked on fishing , is a kid that's less likely to get hooked on drugs or become involved in crimes , simple ! You have to keep accessible places such as this , available to anglers ! Piers are few and far between and are often the only safe place for disabled and the young alike to experience sea fishing !

Fishing should remain where it always has been, hands off.

Another piece of our youth disappearing. Let's hope our signatures help to keep fishing on the pier.

I grew up fishing from Eastbourne Pier. It's a great venue for both young and old and would be a great loss to the local - and not so local - community.
