Beyond belief that an outsider yet again takes over a business in the UK and scraps something that has happened for many years.... Fishing on this pier is part of our and its history, and must not be allowed to stop....

Why is it that fishing is the most popular sport in the UK and people want to take away their pleasure. It happend at Newhaven Breakwaters by the French owners, but you can fish on Dieppes harbour walls. So this new owner of Eastbourne pier is for the community? I THINK NOT. Give the pier back to the community including fisherman.

Although petitions count for nothing and have no legality, money always wins, I really hope the fishing continues.

Keep the fishing from Eastbourne pier open. Support local businesses and fishermen alike.

Please do not ban fishing from the pier it is one of life's pleasures to be able to fish from a pier with your children in safety and with the chance of catching fish from deeper water which would only be possible from a boat other wise.

The fishing at the end of the pier brings a lot of pleasure to not only locals but holiday makers as well and has done so for many years.

Men of goodwell can resolve differences by discussion. There will be many advantages to Sheikh Gulza of having many responsible and observant eyes looking out for his pier and keeping undesirables away!

Please keep the pier open youngsters love pier fishing I have children myself and and the easiest way for me to teach my boy is to take him to the piers, with out these piers around I personally think my boy would of give up fishing it was the best way for him to learn to cast and he loves his mackerel fishing in the summer
