I am shocked to hear that the pier is doing this! My uncle fish's here every day and he loves doing this. So many people enjoy this so why would u even try to remove it. I hope they see sense!!! Keep it open

Good place to fish put ya boats off the beach not good for you to take over pier and stop fishing no one will go on pier soon with your 2 pound charge to

Think its a shame that this small business is having its rug pulled from under its feet. A very friendly set up causing no harm to anybody..Good luck guys.

My first memory of fishing is from when my father took me fishing on Eastbourne pier. I was 5 years old, I am now 45 and still fish regularly as does my son.. This is not only about the piers history but also the memory's of many people who have lived their lives within or visited the town.

Leave things as they are, people have been fishing here for many, many years & will continue to do so well after we are long gone, plus you'll affect a well known & renowned business. Stop changing the rules just because you can!!!
