Arran had made a safe and enjoyable place for kids and the elderly. Fishing is not so easy off the beach for them but here it is a wonderful community spirited place for the sport. I am stunned that the new owner does not see the value to the community. Surely the boats were not successful before.

Why is the owner of Eastbourne Pier against allowing Fishing on the pier, it is after all a pastime which has existed since the pier existed?

I have years of memories of fishing either with my father or now my son. It's a hobby that can be enjoyed by not only fishermen but visitors as well judging by the amount of them that take time to chat.
