We are losing the rights to fish to many and piers and brreakwaters along south/southeast coast lately

Sea fishing is part of history and anyone, no matter how poor can partake in this sport. Fishing off the pier has been done for as long as I can remember and should be open to all

I've been dreaming of fishing Eastbourne pier since I was in care as a boy I have just recently taken up fishing and I'm just waiting for the summer months to relive my happier memories please keep fishing on the pier

Im signing this petition in order to try and save fishing off the pier..as a keen fisherman its in every fishermans interest to save as many places as possible

This pier has a lot of history and part of that history is fishing.

Learn't my fishing on this pier 60 years ago. It is and should remain a traditional location for anglers young and old. Owners of premises such as this should also appreciate the draw angling has to the visiting public when out for their daily stroll along the pier.
